LIVESTREAMING: Attorney General addresses the media on ORAL, other matters

The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Ayine, is set to brief the media on the status of cases under the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, as well as other legal matters of national importance.

The press conference is expected to provide key updates on ongoing prosecutions, including several high-profile cases that have drawn public interest and scrutiny.

Among the cases likely to be addressed is that of Kwabena Adu-Boahene, a former Director General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), who is facing 11 charges for allegedly transferring GH¢49 million (approximately $7 million) from the bureau’s account into his personal account, among other infractions.

The briefing forms part of the Attorney General’s efforts to promote public transparency, reinforce accountability, and dispel misinformation surrounding the government’s legal and prosecutorial activities.
