Nico Williams reveals how Wilfried Zaha inspired his looks

Although Zaha had a tough start in the Premier League—being released by his boyhood club, Manchester United, his time at Crystal Palace saw him develop into one of the league’s best wingers, catching Nico’s eye.

In an interview shared by GiveMeSport, the Athletic Club forward expressed his admiration for Zaha’s style and even admitted to styling his hair like the Ivorian, inspired by his flair and confidence on the pitch.

“Zaha—I loved him when he was at Crystal Palace. He was a player I loved to watch. I even cut my hair like this to look like him,” he said.

Zaha played 305 games in the Premier League, scoring 68 goals and providing 29 assists. Overall, he made 458 appearances for Crystal Palace, cementing his status as a club legend before leaving for Galatasaray to play in the Turkish League.

Meanwhile, Nico Williams has shown great potential, playing a pivotal role in Spain’s European Championship victory in 2024, where he scored in the final against England.
