Crowds jubilate in excitement as VeryDarkMan storms Lagos Island market

Activist and Nigerian online critic Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, made a grand entrance at the Lagos Island market during his visit to the state on Thursday, November 15, 2024.

VeryDarkMan had taken to his social media page to announce his arrival in Lagos for his defamation suit with human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana.

Upon his appearance at the court, the case was adjourned to January 2025. Shortly after the court proceedings, VDM shared a video of himself arriving at the Lagos Island market.

Excitement filled the area as his followers and supporters cheered his name. The crowd surrounded him, attempting to touch him and catch a glimpse of the ‘Ratel King’.

VeryDarkMan was seen couragously walking through the market. At one point, a fight broke out between some men, and the online critic attempted to make peace between them.

Captioning the video, VDM wrote, “God knows the love isn’t paid for…God bless the ratels world wide….no be by power na God (born n bred on the street…. @dkokopee na man you be.”

The video of VeryDarkMan exchanging pleasantries with the people at the Lagos Island market thrilled fans on social media.
