Pregnant woman shot by police officer

After many years of trying to give birth again, lawyer Omobolanle Raheem’s husband, Mr. Gbenga Raheem, revealed that his late wife, who was killed by the police officer, was four months pregnant with twins.

This sad incident happened on Christmas Day when this pregnant lawyer named Omobolanle Raheem was shot in the chest by a police officer in Lagos after returning from church.

It was reported that the lawyer was shot in front of her five-year-old daughter, her husband and her sister’s children who came to spend the Christmas holidays with them.

Although the pregnant lawyer was rushed to hospital for immediate care, she did not survive. Omobolanle’s husband told the secretary of the Ikeja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, Issah Adedokun, that his wife was carrying twins at the time of the shootings.
