25 church members kidnapped in Nigeria
In a BBC.com report, an official statement from the Christian Association of Nigeria said the gunmen stormed the Bege Baptist Church in Chikun and abducted 40 people but 15 managed to escape.
A police spokesman confirmed there had been an attack but gave no details.
The northern part of Nigeria in recent times has recorded high cases of kidnapping among these.
This has been linked to Islamist Militant.
