11-day missing Antoa Mobile Money Merchant lady found dead and decomposing

The body of a missing woman has been found in a bush at Antoa in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region in an advanced decomposing state

The deceased identified as Mummy and 21-years-old was found dead in a bush near a stream between Antoa and Tikrom enclave after she got missing for 11 days.

The unfortunate incident has thrown the entire Community members of Antoa into a state of shock and mourning.

Assembly Member for Antoa Electoral Area Hon Augustus Asiedu known as Hon K.K who confirmed the unfortunate incident in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo monitored by MyNewsGh.com said the deceased’s pants were removed when the body was found.

According to him “We saw the deceased underwear and pants and Ghc11 beside her but because of the condition of her body it will be difficult to determine whether she was raped or not”.

“They told me that she is a mobile Money Vendor at Jachie Junction and she went out with her boyfriend with her kid on the day she got missing. The boyfriend later came with the deceased kid and told them, the deceased left the place with a certain private vehicle” Hon K.K. explained.

He added “the problem is after the incident, the boyfriend is nowhere to be found”.

“We have reported the case to Antoa police Command and later Ejisu Police Command deployed some Officers to the scene to access the situation but the police told us they have to bury the body because of its condition”

Antoa and Ejisu Police Command has commenced investigation into the matter.
