You will soon explain your shady deals at Ghana Post – Sam George tells Obour

The issue began on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, after Sam George announced a major staff retrenchment exercise, authorising the termination of about 100 appointments across the ministry and its affiliated agencies.

However, the decision has been criticised by the Hiplife musician cum immediate past Managing Director of Ghana Post.

Obour, in his criticisms, urged the minister to exercise patience and thoroughly review the available documents before proceeding with the dismissals.

But Sam George did not take such comments lightly.

On Wednesday, March 26, he responded via Instagram, drawing attention to Obour’s tenure at Ghana Post.

In Sam George’s post, he implied that Obour has issues to explain and should focus on answering for his actions instead of questioning the current administration’s decisions.

“Obour has offered to help. His offer is welcome. Not to explain post-December 7th, 2024, recruitment, but rather the shady deals he engaged in as MD of Ghana Post. He would have his hands full soon in explaining his deeds at Ghana Post. He should exercise some patience,” Sam George wrote.
