You dey stress me’ – Lawyer Deji Adeyanju tells VeryDarkMan

VeryDarkMan asked Adeyanju if he was happy being his lawyer, to which he responded no, stating that the activist stresses him out.

In a video on their way to court, VeryDarkMan mentioned that Adeyanju complained about the number of cases he currently has before the court.

Adeyanju questioned why he received calls from people asking him to talk to VeryDarkMan about some issues from the previous day. He asked VeryDarkMan to let them go.

In response, VeryDarkMan told his lawyer that he was not aware of those people’s character and should not beg for them or ask him to let them go.

“Barrister Deji how are you doing today?” VeryDarkMan asked. Deji responded saying “I dey.” VeryDarkMan then inquired, “Are you happy representing me?” Deji replied, “No, you dey stress me”.

VeryDarkMan noted, “Barrister Deji said that I have six cases in different court, I’m telling him that its not up to ten yet. But my lawyer is capable. We will add more four this week.”

Deji asked him why people were calling him to talk to him, “Your people were calling me to call you why?” “You have to let those people go.”

VeryDarkMan added, “No, those people will bring another case to you, making it seven. More cases will come, Barrister Deji. Don’t beg for people you don’t know their character. You always call to beg for people. You don’t know these people’s character, I know them. Shout out to you Barrister Deji. We have one case in front. Thank you.”

On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, VeryDarkMan released a video where he posted a picture of a woman whom he claimed was sexually involved with media personality, Nedu to help her promote her content creation, a claim the woman has denied.

The clash between VeryDarkMan and Nedu began when the OAP invited DeeOne, a former Big Brother Naija Housemate as a guest on the Honest Bunch podcast where he alleged that VeryDarkMan was gay, causing a backlash on Nedu.
