YOLO actor Drogba now relying on oxygen, battling multiple conditions

It appears that Ghanaian actor Drogba’s condition has deteriorated, as he is currently relying on oxygen for survival.

Famed for his role in the popular Yolo series, John Peasah, who has been battling sleep apnea since March 2024, has shared a recent update on his health.

In a now-deleted post, he stated that his Obstructive Sleep Apnea condition which affects his breathing has intensified as he currently relies on oxygen.

He also disclosed battling multiple conditions at the same time, a situation that has sparked public concern.

Aside from the sleep apnea syndrome, Drogba is currently battling multiple debilitating disorders and a Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder, a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms.

He is also battling with GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia, which affects his coordination and balance.

Drogba also has a bulging disc in his spine, a condition that has triggered severe lower back pain that radiates to his legs, making movements, especially walking, difficult.

He is also dealing with claustrophobia, an anxiety disorder that causes an intense fear of enclosed spaces, and this condition is said to usually heighten during treatments.

Also, the actor disclosed that he is experiencing constant visual challenges, tremors, and dizziness.

However, he has disclosed that he is about to undergo IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) Therapy, an expensive treatment that adds to the financial burden of managing his conditions.
