Yaw Dabo breaks down over Real Madrid’s loss to Barcelona in Copa del Rey final

Ghanaian actor and football academy owner Yaw Dabo has expressed his frustration following his favorite team, Real Madrid’s, latest 3-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on April 26, 2025.

He lamented the frequency with which the Catalans have humiliated his beloved Real Madrid in this season’s El Clásico encounters, despite the top-tier players on Madrid’s roster.

The owner of the Dabo Soccer Academy vented his anger over Barcelona’s dominance against Real Madrid, describing the situation as “killing” the Spanish giants and denying them the opportunity to win trophies this season.

In a viral video, Dabo, speaking emotionally and on the verge of tears, stated that he is tired of Madrid’s losses to their fierce rivals Barcelona, questioning the intentions of the Catalan side.

“Now it is finished, right? Barcelona should kill us; we are tired. Have we wronged you? When we are playing against other teams, you hate us and score three goals against us. You are slapping us in the face from all fronts; why? Kill us; we are tired! We have one last match with you; kill us,” he said in Twi.

Meanwhile, three of Los Blancos’ players, Jude Bellingham, Antonio Rüdiger, and Lucas Vázquez, were shown red cards for misconduct after attempting to confront the center referee following the match.

Madrid are on the brink of a trophyless 2024/2025 season after being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and trailing Barcelona by four points in La Liga.
