‘Wontumi is foolish today because he had no father like E.A Mahama – NDC replies

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako better known as Chairman Wontumi has had a double dose of his own medicine for describing the late father of former President John Dramani Mahama, Mr. E. A Mahama as a corrupt thief.

Chairman Wontumi in is usual acerbic attacks on Kumasi-based Ashh Fm, claimed John Dramani Mahama took after over his late father who was a corrupt thief.

“President John Mahama is a corrupt thief just like his father, Mr. E.A Mahama,who was an Agric Minister in Nkrumah’s administration”. He disclosed.

But his comments which did not go down well with Abass Nurudeen, NDC Ashanti Regional Communication Director has elicited the appropriate response saying “If you had a father like E.A Mahama, you will not be the social misfit and foolish that you are today”.

He observed that the current government has gained notoriety in hiding behind shady characters like Wuntomi to run down and soil the enviable reputation of former President John Dramani Mahama, a reputation which the NDC will jealously guard against.
