Woman trapped, one injured as truck loaded with wood overturns at Sunyani-Asufufu

A tragic accident occurred Tuesday evening in Sunyani-Asufufu, where a truck heavily loaded with wood overturned and landed on a motorbike.

According to reports, the truck lost balance due to the weight of the wood and overturned, unfortunately landing on the motorbike driving along the road.

The motorbike rider and the pillion were trapped beneath the truck.

The rider was in critical condition and has been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Residents have launched a frantic rescue effort, working tirelessly to free the woman who remains pinned under the vehicle.

The extent of her injuries and whether she is still alive are currently unknown.

The incident has drawn a crowd of concerned residents, some using makeshift tools in an effort to lift the truck and save the trapped woman.

Rescue teams have yet to arrive at the scene to assist.
