Woman thrown out of a speeding taxi while on her way to work

The tragic death of Farren du Preez has left her family devastated and seeking justice for her untimely passing.

The 19-year-old was simply on her way to work when she boarded a minibus taxi in Delft Main Road, never imagining it would be her last journey.

Eyewitness Kathleen Williams, a family friend, recounted the horrifying events that led to Farren’s death.

The taxi driver was reportedly speeding and attempting to overtake another vehicle when the tragic accident occurred.

The taxi swerved to avoid a collision, causing passengers to be ejected from the vehicle, with Farren being crushed underneath the taxi.

The image of Farren with blood coming from her nose and ears is seared into Kathleen’s memory, a heartbreaking sight that she will never forget.

The pain and grief of losing a loved one in such a sudden and violent manner is unimaginable, leaving Farren’s family struggling to come to terms with their loss.

The family is now seeking justice for Farren, hoping that the driver responsible for her death will be held accountable for his reckless actions.

They want answers and they want to ensure that no other family has to endure the same heartache and pain that they are currently experiencing.

As the investigation into the accident continues, the family of Farren du Preez is left to mourn the loss of a beloved daughter, sister, and friend.
