The Western North Region’s representative in this year’s edition of TV3’s prestigious beauty pageant, Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB), has said winning the pageant will serve as an opportunity for her to promote girl-child education in the country especially Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality.

The voyage to crown a new queen for 2020 Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB), was launched on Sunday, June 28, in a very colourful ceremony live on TV3 network.

A beautiful and active female trained teacher from Wiawso College of Education, Miss Regina Ofori with the stage name, Adjoa happens to be the second lady to represent the region after Saah in 2019.

The 16 beautiful, fluent and talented ladies, representing the 16 regions of Ghana, are eying the ultimate, but Western North will welcome joy if Adjoa comes home with the crown.

Adjoa on her presentation during the unveiling of the 16 contestants said “Dr. Kwegyir Aggrey said and I quote “if you educate a man you educate an individual but if you educate a woman you educate a whole nation.”

“If I, Regina Ofori with stage name Adjoa as a contestant of GMB 2020 representing the Western North Region, win this pageant, I want  to promote girl-child education in the country especially my community, Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Area because girls in my area have less knowledge about education and want to use this opportunity to help them realise the importance of education not only in academic but also in a trade that will help them to achieve something beneficial which will also help to promote mother Ghana and make us uniquely and exceptionally African.”
