Why NDC is taking part in voter registration pilot – George Loh explains

The Regional Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region, George Loh has come to the defense of his party on why they have decided to take part in the voter registration pilot by the Electoral Commission (EC) starting Tuesday, 2nd June 2020.

Speaking in an interview monitored by mynewsghana.net, George Loh in trying to defend his party’s decision said that the party needed more proof of the claims it is making against the Electoral Commission (EC) and Madam Jean Mensah.

The former Member of Parliament for North Dayi said that joining in the exercise would, however, give them more grounds and proof when making arguments against the Electoral Commission (EC).

“So if they are piloting what they are saying are new machines, don’t we deserve to know what kind of things they are doing and if there are any hunky punky games, we prepare ourselves? So all those doing mischief with the thing should stop because the card they even gave is a dummy card. I cannot even use it for any election,” he said.
