Actress Nana Ama McBrown and her panelists were jamming to King Plauta’s latest track, ‘Makoma’, when a popular verse from the song sparked controversy in the Onua Showtime studios.

The most talked about verse in that particular song, ‘Odeefo ade y3nfa nkyekye’, which translates to, ‘You don’t give out what belongs to kings to other people’, became a topic for discussion for a moment.

This line chastises people who cheat on their partners.

However, while vibing to the song, Mcbrown personalised those lyrics and emphasised that she will never give away what belongs to her king.

McBrown’s statement drew a subtle jab from one of the panelists, Mimi Andani.

Mimi referenced recent reports alleging that McBrown’s “king,” for whom she claims to be preserving herself, has been involved in multiple extramarital affairs. This was what ensued between them,

Mimi: “You’re not giving yourself away, but he is out there sharing himself with others.”

McBrown: “Who are you referring to?”

Mimi: “I’m referring to the one you’re saving yourself for. He is freely distributing himself to others.”

McBrown: laughs “I’ll sue you if you’re not careful.”

McBrown added, “All I’m trying to say is that my body is mine, but the ‘king’ has a share in it, so I won’t give it away to anyone else.”
