What is Cheddar up to again?

In the later part of 2023, a series of billboards around the country depicting a masked figure led to speculations among Ghanaians over who could be the face behind the mask and why.

These questions were answered in November when Ghanaian businessman, Nana Kwame Bediako, aka Cheddar, through the New Force Movement, revealed himself to be the face behind the mask and announced his ambition to run for president of the Republic of Ghana in the 2024 general elections on December 7.

Despite mixed reactions from the citizenry, Cheddar has forged ahead, detailing his daring policies and ambitious plans if voted into power.

So far, the 44-year-old has done this alone.

However, a new billboard which popped up in the middle of Accra has piqued further interest in the businessman.

The billboard, captioned ‘The New Six’ showcases Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Freedom Jacob Ceasar, in the middle of six masked figures.

While the New Force Movement is yet to come out with an official statement, initial impressions indicate that the presidential aspirant is purportedly set to reveal six other individuals who would be his fellow travellers in his journey to the Jubilee House.

While Ghanaians wait for answers, the country is still gearing up for the 2024 general elections with the two main parties ready to lock horns.

But the battle will also include Nana Kwame Bediako of the New Force Movement and Alan Kyerematen of the Movement for Change.
