What I do is not comedy; it’s called “keshe” – Ras Nene

Kumawood Actor, Ras Nene says what he does in his skits on youtube cannot be classified as comedy.

There were concerns that his skits are not funny and that his newfound fame may be short-lived if he does not sit down and work on making them “funny”.

But speaking to TV3’s Giovanni, Ras Nene indicated that he does not do comedy like people claim he does in his skits.

To him, his skits are called “keshe”; a reflection of society and how people will boast of possessions while they do not have.

He said what he does not is just a transformation of his roles he used to play in Kumawood into more lighter roles.

Ras Nene indicated that in Ghana Agya Koo, Kwaku Manu and Lil Win are comic actors who when they come together to act will perform wonders in the country.

He was grateful that Ghanaians have supported him and helping him make inroads into the hearts of many Ghanaians.
