We won’t be intimidated by police arrests-aggrieved Menzgold customers

Aggrieved customers of Menzgold in Kumasi have expressed their readiness to fight for their investment from the company irrespective of intimidation tactics being employed by the police who are arresting them under the guise of breaching the public order act.

Police in Ashanti Regional capital of Kumasi on Tuesday arrested 7 customers of Menzgold for flouting the public order law arraigned them before court on various charges but were granted bail on Wednesday, MyNewsGh.com confirmed

It would be recalled scores of disgruntled customers of Menzgold from across the country on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 converged in the Ashanti Region to stage a demonstration to demand their locked-up investments with the gold dealership company

They burnt car tyres and blocked roads linking Adum and Amakom, both suburbs of Kumasi, a situation that resulted in hours of gridlock.

The arrested customers of Menzgold were arrested and charged but granted bail by the Asokore Mampong District court.

According to him, the customers will keep on fighting for their investment saying they won’t take the law intp their hands

Mr. Barfour disclosed that customers of Menzgold did a legitimate business with Menzgold customers.

He added that police arresting their members cannot intimate them but rather giving them strength to win their fight against Menzgold company.
