We wanted Samuel Boadu to sign a 10-year contract – Berekum Chelsea bankroller Amofa Jantuah

Bankroller of Berekum Chelsea and Business magnate Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah has spoken highly about coach Samuel Boadu, saying his outfit wanted to sign a 10-year contract with him.

Boadu signed a short-term deal to finish the 2023/24 season with the club after Christopher Ennin departed the Berekum-based outfit.

The former Hearts of Oak coach impressed, helping the club to finish third in the Ghana Premier League last season.

Following fruitful negotiations, both parties have agreed to continue their marriage for the next two years.

And according to Amofa Jantuah, his side wanted Samuel Boadu to sign a 10-year deal with the Bibires considering the qualities he possesses as a coach.

“We wanted Samuel Boadu to sign a 10-year contract with us. He is a good and has the experience. He has the Ghana Premier League before, and we wanted a 10-year deal with him” he told Kessben FM, as followed by Footballghana.com.

The Bibires are currently preparing for the upcoming domestic top-flight season scheduled for September.
