We need to do better as a country – Man cries after bank gives him tattered naira notes

The man lamented the poor look of the notes and advised Nigerians to properly take care of money, so the money does not look as bad as the ones he is having.

Sharing the photos of the naira notes, he wrote: “I just received this from the bank, they’re so bad and most of them are torn but half bread is better that none.

“We really need to do better in the way we handle our currency in this country.”

A changeover to redesigned currency has plunged the country’s economy into crisis as there are not enough new banknotes in a country reliant on cash.
