WATCH VIDEO: “Change Your Wig” – Justice Anin Yeboah Tells Akoto Ampaw

Lawyer Akoto Ampaw, counsel for the second respondent, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-AddoPresident of the republic, had just had his turn and was about to sit down when the Chief Justice, Justice Anin Yeboah drew his attention to his (Ampaw’s) wig.

In trying to make mockery of his obviously old wig, Justice Anin Yeboah stated, “Mr. Akoto Ampaw, change your wig, it has lost its identity”.

In a funny scene that followed, Mr. Akoto Ampaw in a humorous posture removed his wig, checked it and put it back on his head and responded, “My lord, it gives me a unique identity”.

As expected, it triggered of a hail of laughter from the seated persons in the chamber and somehow doused the heat and tension associated with the setting.
