WATCH: ‘Trotro’ filled with passengers falls into ditch around Accra Central Mosque

A public transport vehicle, locally known as a ‘trotro’, crashed into a ditch close to the Central Mosque at Nii Boy Town in Accra.

According to reports, the ‘trotro’ veered off the road into the ditch while some passengers were still in it.

Two passengers were rescued from the vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A video shared by Sikaofficial on X showed the front of the vehicle in the gutter.

One man could be heard saying in the video that the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The driver of the ‘trotro’ could also be seen narrating what transpired to some of the community members.
