WATCH: Pastor Accuses Akwatia MP Bernard Bediako of Using Forged Documents in Property Dispute

The founder and leader of Zoe Outreach Embassy Church in Ghana, Pastor Kelvin, has made allegations against Akwatia Member of Parliament Bernard Bediako Baidoo over a disputed property transaction.

According to the pastor, the controversy involves documents he claims were forged and subsequently used in connection with a legal dispute over properties.

Pastor Kelvin alleged that the disputed documents played a role in a court case concerning ownership of the properties. He further claimed that after the legal proceedings, the properties were allegedly sold.

The pastor said some of his claims were based on what he described as findings from the police. However, the allegations remain claims made by Pastor Kelvin and have not been established as proven facts against the MP.

The matter has attracted attention because it involves allegations concerning property ownership, legal documentation and transactions involving valuable assets.

Bernard Bediako Baidoo is the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Akwatia. He was elected to Parliament following the Akwatia by-election and represents the constituency in Ghana’s Ninth Parliament.

The allegations have raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the disputed properties and the documents said to have been used during the legal process.

Property disputes can become complicated when questions arise over ownership records, documentation and the legitimacy of transactions. Such matters are normally subject to investigation and, where necessary, determination by the appropriate legal authorities.

For now, the accusations made by Pastor Kelvin should be treated as allegations unless supported by a competent authority or established through due legal process. The MP should also be given an opportunity to respond to the claims and present his side of the matter.

The controversy comes as Bernard Bediako continues his work as the representative of Akwatia in Parliament. His election to the seat followed the 2025 Akwatia by-election, in which he secured victory for the NDC.

As questions surrounding the disputed properties continue to attract attention, further clarification from the parties involved and any relevant authorities could help establish the facts surrounding the allegations.
