WATCH: Otelee explains why Sunsum was barred from visiting him

Kumawood actor Otelee has recalled instances where his colleague, Sunsum, repeatedly disrespected his family.

In an interview with Zionfelix on April 9, 2025, Otelee recounted that Sunsum made derogatory comments about his wife, leading to a feud between them during a trip to Accra for an event.

The actor made these statements while explaining why his wife prevented Sunsum from seeing him when he was sick.

“The reason my wife stopped him was that we had an issue during a program in Accra. When we went there, he told me he wouldn’t allow my wife to sleep in the room because he wanted to bring in a lady. He disrespected my wife,” Otelee said.

Otelee added that the situation didn’t end there, as Sunsum went on to grant interviews, making negative comments about him.

“The issue went to Suame police station. After that, he granted interviews and said a lot of negative things about me,” he added.

However, Otelee mentioned that they have since settled their differences, and Sunsum even supported him during his illness.

“He called me recently, but before that, I had blocked him on all social media platforms because of what he did. So, he reached out to my wife and informed her that someone wanted to gift me money. That was how we started talking again.”

“I’m even happy he came to visit me when I was sick because not everyone would think of you, even after having a feud,” Otelee concluded.
