Watch Michael Essien dance Agbaza during Nordsjaelland’s visit to Volta Region

Former Black Stars midfielder Michael Essien showcased his dancing skills as he performed cultural dance during Nordsjaelland’s visit to Ghana.

The former footballer joined in the ‘Agbaza’ dance, a traditional dance popular among the people of the Volta Region.

In a video that surfaced online, Essien took centre stage, dancing enthusiastically while the players cheered him on.

Essien was part of Nordsjaelland’s delegation visiting Ghana for a training program ahead of their new season in Denmark.

Since retiring from professional football, Michael Essien has pursued a career in coaching. He is currently a member of the technical team for the Danish first-tier club Nordsjaelland.

The Chelsea legend recently earned his UEFA coaching certificate and expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout his journey.
