Watch Inaki Williams’ goal for Athletic Club a 2-1 win over Real Racing

Black Stars striker Inaki Williams scored in Athletic Club’s 2-1 win over Real Racing Club on Wednesday, July 25, 2024.

Inaki opened the scoring for Athletic in the 39th minute, connecting with a cross from the right.

Canales doubled the lead in the early minutes of the second half before Racing Club reduced the deficit in the 69th minute.

Athletic held on to the lead to record their first victory in their pre-season tour in Portugal.

Inaki Williams has started on a good note as he prepares for his 10th season with the Basque club after making his debut in 2014.

His younger brother Nico Williams, who is on the radar of many clubs over a potential transfer, missed the game as he is on holiday after a stunning run at the 2024 Euros with Spain.

Athletic Club will face Portuguese giants Sporting CP in their second pre-season game in Lisbon on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
