The arrival of the dancing duo, Afronitaaa and Abigail, at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) was a spectacle to behold as they returned to Ghana following their impressive performance on Britain’s Got Talent in the United Kingdom (UK).

At the airport, they were met with a grand welcome, receiving flowers and being escorted by adowa dancers as they approached the crowd.

The venue was teeming with a large audience, including children who demonstrated their dance skills to greet their peers who had made a name for themselves on the international stage.

Veteran film producer, Socrate Safo, was also present to extend his support and welcome Abigail and Afronitaaa back home.

Netizens have praised the pair for their outstanding performance in the BGT competition.

Afronitaaa and Abigail were named the third-best act in the 2024 edition of Britain’s Got Talent. The duo, favourites among judges and fans, missed out on the £250,000 prize money despite a captivating dance performance on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

They were surpassed by Jack Rhodes, who finished second, and Sydine Christmas, who won the prize money and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

The story of Afronitaaa and her protégé, Abigail, touched the hearts of the BGT audience and judges from their audition.

Abigail’s ability to dance in sync with Afronitaaa, despite being hearing-impaired, garnered praise for the duo throughout the competition.
