Watch how Ghanaian military boxer David Bawah knocked out his opponent in Round 1

Ghanaian military heavyweight boxer David Bawah Akankolim delivered a spectacular knockout on his opponent, Justice Addy, in under two minutes on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Accra.

David Bawah, a former member of Ghana’s amateur boxing team, looked imposing and dominant against his skinny opponent.

Justice Addy attempted to make the first move when the fight began, but his punches looked feeble for the military boxer.

Bawah’s first in-the-fight punch landed straight on Addy’s face, shaking him awake.

Although Addy tried to respond with a series of jabs, his efforts fell short.

A precise jab to the stomach from Bawah sent Addy crashing to the canvas.

Despite his attempt to continue, Addy sensed the looming threat and chose to call it quits.

The 33-year-old David Bawah turned professional only in 2023 after nearly a decade of service to Ghana’s Black Bombers.

The heavyweight boxer won a bronze medal for Ghana at the 2015 All-Africa Games.
