25-year-old sex worker Abena has disclosed that they have also increased their prices due to the current economic crisis that Ghana is facing.

Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Abena indicated that some sex workers have already increased their prices. However, she is yet to make the necessary changes to her rate card.

“We will increase it. Some have increased prices already, but I am yet to start. My friends now charge GHS50 and GHS70 for short,” she said.

Moreover, DJ Nyaami quizzed Abena on the services she provides and the terms and conditions applied.

“I don’t have sex with clients without a condom. You want sex, and I want the money, so do what you have to do and pay me. There is no foreplay attached. If you want variety like doggy style, you’d have to pay an extra GHS10,” Abena revealed.

Speaking on life before prostitution, Abena mentioned that she lived in her hometown with her sister until she moved to Accra. According to Abena, she broke her virginity at age 12 and gave birth five years later.

Abena, however, mentioned that she does not enjoy what she does but has no option because she has to survive.
