Watch C Confion’s sister’s emotional tribute at his burial

Aside from the intense grief from family and sympathisers, one of the emotional highlights of C Confion’s funeral on Saturday, January 11, 2025, was when one of his sisters delivered a heartfelt tribute.

In deep sorrow, she expressed how her brother’s death had left an indelible scar in their hearts.

“Your enthusiasm inspired us to be better versions of ourselves. As a brother, you were more than just a sibling; you were a friend, a confidant, and a partner in crime. You shared your laughter, dreams, and tears with us, and we were honoured to be part of your journey.

“Bright, your legacy will continue to inspire us. We will remember your kindness, empathy, and generosity. We will cherish the memories we shared with you, the laughter and adventures. Rest in peace, dear brother. Though your light has dimmed, your impact will forever shine brightly in our hearts,” she read, overwhelmed with grief.

Several individuals gathered to mourn and pay tribute to the late Bright Owusu, popularly known as C Confion, at his funeral ceremony held at Sepe Buokrom Park in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

Notable Kumawood stars and other celebrities, including Nana Ama McBrown, LilWin, Wayoosi, Vivian Jill, Kwaku Manu, musician Broda Sammy, Sista Afia, and many others, were present to mourn with the bereaved family.

The Akabenzer Production team, led by Dr. Likee, who had worked closely with C Confion, was also seen in deep sorrow at the funeral.
