Watch as Samira Bawumia draws massive crowd at Yendi

The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has hit the ground running, canvassing for votes for her husband, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

While the NPP flagbearer is currently campaigning in the Volta Region, his wife is doing his bidding in the Northern Region.

Viral videos have shown Samira Bawumia drawing massive crowds to her campaign events in the region.

A video sighted by GhanaWeb showed a massive crowd waiting on the Second Lady in the dead of the night.

From the video, the crowd erupted with joy upon the arrival of the next potential First Lady of Ghana.

Samira Bawumia could also be seen being mobbed as she went through the massive crowd to the campaign platform.

The Second Lady, beaming with smiles, waved at the crowd as she proceeded to the stage.
