Ghana Supporters Union march to Parliament ahead of Kofi Adams' vetting

The Ghana Supporters Union is showing strong support for Kofi Adams as he prepares for his vetting in Parliament.

Members of the union have gathered in large numbers, demonstrating their enthusiasm and solidarity ahead of Adams’ expected appointment.

Adams is scheduled to appear before the Vetting Committee on Thursday, January 30, 2025, as he awaits approval to assume the role of Minister of Sports and Recreation.

A video shared by Onua Sports captures a large crowd of supporters dressed in the colors of the national flag, in high spirits as they eagerly await Adams’ arrival.

Once approved by the Vetting Committee, Adams, the Member of Parliament for the Buem, will officially take over from Mustapha Ussif, who served as Minister of Youth and Sports from 2021 to 2025.

Adams was nominated for the position by President Mahama on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
