Watch as Dutch police arrest stark naked Ghanaian man who suddenly ‘went mad’

A Ghanaian man living in the Netherlands suddenly supposedly went mad on the streets of Amsterdam, according to reports.

Reports GhanaWeb cannot confirm at this moment indicate that the man was set to return to Ghana on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

A video shared by Eli Love, a verified X account, on Thursday, October 17, 2024, showed Dutch police officers struggling to calm the man, who was stark naked, in order to place him under arrest.

The man who was taking the video could be heard lamenting over the incident.

He indicated that the victim was someone he knows, and who had just started going mad.

He suggested that the man (the one being arrested) was going mad because someone had supposedly charmed him back home.

The man taking the video could be heard urging the other man to calm down; speaking to him in the Twi dialect, and asking the police to also take it easy with him.

“Aloi please Bro. Aloi, Aloi, please man… My brother, relax, please. Please, leave me alone. I’m trying to relax him in my language. Please I’m not doing anything violent, I’m trying to talk to him.

“Charlie, my brother, relax. Bro, please man. Aloi, why are you doing this? You are going back to Ghana soon, why are you going to Ghana this Saturday, why are you doing this? They are doing something to you back home. Aloi, they have done something to you back home, I swear to God. They have charmed my brother,” the voice behind the video said.

He added, “Aloi, you have taken off all your clothing, you are naked. Please, he is going crazy, take it easy for him… Bro why, you were just standing here with me why did I bring you. Oh man, I cannot believe this.”

Another man is heard saying, “Is he not the one who has built a storey building?”

According to Eli Love, the X account that shared the video, the victim made his uncle build him a house in Ghana and made arrangements with the uncle to return home this Saturday.

Eli Love indicated that he had booked his plane ticket and had gone out to hang out with his friends before leaving for Ghana when the incident happened.
