W/R: We are still waiting for you to fulfill your promise Mr President- Npp constituents

Npp constituents at Sefwi Akaatiso of Bia West district in the Western Region are calling on the New Patriotic Party(NPP) led administration to fulfill the promises made to them during the 2016 election campaign.
This was revealed during my six-day visit to  the border constituency between La Côte divoire and Ghana. The NPP members in Sefwi Akaatiso in the Bia West district of the Western Region used the opportunity to register their disappointments with  the government.
Speaking with Npp chairman of the locality Mr Abdulai Laboni,he made clear that when NDC was in power they were in hellfire but  at least they had electricity through the former president John Mahama. Then the  Npp came and made numerous  promises to us.For these promises, majority of the people supported the party in diverse ways to the extent that some of the National Democratic Congress members  joined the NPP.
We can’t blame and accuse the president of Ghana for disappointing us but we are  reminding him that 2020 is another opportunity for us.
He  added that because Akaatiso is a border town with la Côte d ivoire, they (the NPP ) made the promise of constructing international road to connect that part of Ghana to La Côte d ivoire to facilitate our businesses travels and that is yet to be fulfilled. We don’t have hospitals, education is a big challenge due lack of facilities (Classrooms ) and is only two schools which was constructed in the year 1985 up till now, not much development except for electricity which is to the credit of the previous government,he asserted.
We are calling on the president that we thought we were living in hell during the administration of the former government and we (the NPP ) came in promising heaven. This “heaven” appears to be very hot compared to the what we endured under President Mahama.
