VIDEO+PHOTOS: Man in police grips for beating sons with electricity cable

A 35-year-old man, Kofi Konor Abusuapanyin, has been arrested by the Nkwanta Police for allegedly whipping his two sons with an electricity cable.

The crime for which he brutalised the children was leaving the house to watch football without his knowledge.

The sons, Francis Kofi, 9 and Joe 7 have suffered severe cuts on their bodies as a result of the whipping.

Mother of the kids, Atta Joyce, who reported the incident to the Police, expressed disgust at the occurrence.

She says it is difficult for her to understand why her ex-husband would mete out such punishments to his own biological children.

The police have since commenced investigations into the matter.
