[VIDEO]: You’ve kept too long, when are you coming back? – Nana Turkson’s kids ask

“Baby Joe says you are in Heaven but she is always asking when you will come back because you’ve kept too long.”

Amanda Turkson mumbled these words as she read a tribute on behalf of her two younger siblings and herself during the burial service for her late father, Nana Turkson.

Though the atmosphere at the St. Luke Anglican Church was gloomy, it turned extremely sorrowful as congregants could no longer control their tears when Amanda Turkson read her heartfelt tribute while her father lied lifeless in a coffin.

“Papa we miss you. Papa we love you so much. Rest in peace Papa. Till we meet in Heaven and hug you tight,” she concluded amidst tears from mourners.

The Joy FM Showbiz A-Z pundit left behind three adorable daughters; Amanda Turskon (who turns seven in December), Josephine Turkson, 4, and Bertranda Turskon, 2.

Tributes were also read by his wife, Elizabeth Turkson, his parents, The Multimedia Group Limited, friends and personalities within the showbiz industry.

Nana Turkson was laid to rest during a private burial which followed a burial service at the St. Luke Anglican Church on Friday.

A thanksgiving service was held on Sunday, September 2 at the same venue.

The affable, jovial and industrious Nana Turskon was born on June 26, 1976, in Accra and passed on August 7, 2018.
