VIDEO: Truck Overturns on Adukrom-Somanya Road, Furniture Scattered

A truck transporting furniture overturned on the Adukrom-Somanya Road after crashing into concrete road barriers, causing its load to spill across the roadway.

According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle lost control before ramming into the barriers and overturning, scattering furniture onto the road and drawing the attention of commuters and residents in the area. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far, though investigations are underway to confirm the full details.

The incident temporarily disrupted traffic flow as bystanders and authorities worked to clear the furniture and ensure safety on the busy road. Police and road safety officials have since urged transport operators to observe strict safety and maintenance practices to avoid similar occurrences.

This accident adds to growing concerns about road safety and vehicle handling on Ghana’s highways. Authorities say measures will be reinforced to ensure safer travel across the region.
