VIDEO: South Dayi MP rushes victims to hospital after Eastern Corridor highway accident

The Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, and his team played a critical role in rescuing victims of a severe road accident on the Eastern Rorridor highway near Todome.

The incident involved a 2014 registered Toyota Matrix, with registered number GX-2178-14, which was severely damaged in the crash, leaving its occupants in critical condition.

Sharing the news on social media platform X, the MP described the scene as “horrendous” and stated that his team immediately transported the injured individuals to the Peki Government Hospital for urgent medical care.

 

Witnesses reported that the accident caused significant damage to the vehicle, and emergency responders and bystanders had to work together to extricate the victims from the wreckage.

The MP expressed his concern for the wellbeing of those affected, urging the public to keep them in their thoughts and prayers as they undergo treatment.
