Former SC Anderlecht Boss Congratulates Renowned Ghanaian Football Administrator Ben Boateng

Herman Van Holsbeeck former manager of Sc Anderlecht has heaped praises on young, affable and energetic football administrator Benjamin Boateng on his nomination for this year’s Forty Under 40 Sports Personality Award.

Mr. Herman in his congratulatory remarks expressed his overwhelming happiness for young Boateng who’s leadership skills has urged him to yearn for more.

“Boateng is a responsible gentleman with good leadership qualities and I’m not surprised he has been nominated for the Forty Under 40 Sports Category. I believe he will be the winner in that category”. Mr. Herman added.

“The football fraternity and sports enthusiasts as a whole must be proud of him. I’m always impressed and amazed when I see Boateng mobilising his own funds to finance the young footballers and nurture talents to make their vision come through”. He added

The former Anderlecht Boss who steered the fairs of the club from 2003 and 2018 commended and charged Mr. Benjamin Boateng to be and yearn for more success.

Mr. Boateng in his own way has contributed immensely to the football fraternity in Ghana with the coming into force of Karineb football Academy.

He has developed young talents in Ghana and across the African continent in the area of football. His Academy has served and helped young talents to even gain sponsorship to further their Senior High School education at the Okuapeman Senior High School, Akropong.

Karineb Academy has produced skillful and talented players who have featured in Ghana’s Under 17 National Team (Black Starlets) and some currently undergoing the final selection process.

Additionally, his football club gives opportunities to players to display their talents for football scouts and agents who visit the country on such missions.

The Academy is also involved in some charitable exercises as and when the need be; He recently led a team from the Karineb Academy to support the Narbita Hospital Tema with some PPEs and Toiletries for the fight against Covid-19.

I strongly recommend Mr. Boateng for the above stated award since his passion and zeal for the football fraternity is umarched. His contributions to football is highly commendable. The award will motivate and challenge him to do more.
