VIDEO: NDC boys attack Policemen at Madina

My New Ghana has intercepted a video on social media where a group of young men believed to be supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is seen attacking some police officers in the area.

My News Ghana cannot ascertain the true cause of the attack on the police officers but one could hear arguments between the police officers and the young men at the beginning of the video suggesting unrest in the area.

The police officers who tried unsuccessfully to calm the crowd later tried to make calls to a higher authority which was also unsuccessful.

The police officers were trying to leave the scene when the young men started pushing one of them around resulting in him falling to the ground.

The policemen upon sensing danger started firing warning shots which dispersed the crowd.
