[VIDEO]: Motorbike rider killed in horrible accident on Kanda Highway

A motorbike rider has crashed to death after colliding with a salon car on the Kanda Highway in front of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Accra.

The incident which occurred on the afternoon of Monday, 7th September 2020 has seen the driver of the salon car in critical condition.

He was rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident and is now receiving medical care.

Confirming the news to the media,  Inspector Ayim Gyasi of the MTTD, who was at the scene narrated that the car was moving from Kanda towards Accra with the motorbike moving in the opposite direction.

He said that the motorbike rider tried to cut in at the intersection leading to the collision and the death of the rider.

Other eyewitnesses say that the motorbike rider refused to heed to the red traffic and tried to cross quickly but was unsuccessful leading to the collision and his eventual death on the spot.
