VIDEO: How I was attacked by Shatta Wale at 2012 VGMA-Kaakie makes shocking revelation

It is emerging that Shatta Wale is gaining notoriety in attacking persons who win awards over him during music awards in the country if the revelation by Ghanaian dancehall artiste Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey popularly known as Kaakie is anything to go by.

She revealed in a video posted on her twitter page of how she was attacked because she annexed 2012 Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year ahead of Shatta Wale who claims he is the Dancehall King in the country.

She said “2012 same award category, Shatta Wale same thing you did to me. You almost attacked me but for God I did not know what would have happened to me. What is the meaning of that? If you think you deserve the award for that category, you work at it and you earn it. You don’t come throwing tantrums like a baby….are you a baby? Stonebwoy has won and he has won it. If he has won it the fifth time, work your ass out and stop the childish display”, she jabbed.

It would be recalled that confusion broke out on Sunday dawn at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ceremony after Stonebwoy was announced as winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.

Shatta Wale and his militant group after the announcement stormed the stage under the guise of congratulating Stonebwoy sparking a tensed euphoria.

In the ensuing melee, Stonebwoy was seen pulling a gun as security details rushed onto the stage to resolve the murky situation in view of the fact that happenings did not appear as friendly as claimed.
