It was a frenzy scene on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the Ritz Junction when a Hyundai Mighty transporting alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from Adenta to Accra failed its break and hit an electricity pole.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the vehicle realizing he had failed his break decided to rather hit an electricity pole than hit the cars which were in front of him.
The truck is said to have somersaulted and discharged the drinks on the floor leaving it to the mercy of passersby who did justice to them.
The driver of the vehicle is said to have broken his leg and is currently at an undisclosed hospital receiving treatment.
