[VIDEO]: Angry NPP youth chase away Musah Superior over contracts

The hatred for Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Iddrisu Musah Superior by aggrieved youth of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been pitched a notch higher with the appointee seen in a latest video that has gone viral being chased away.

MyNewsGh.com understands that the mayor had gone to the Tamale Cultural Centre on Tuesday to impress on his friends turned foes to turn up in their numbers to welcome the President who is set to visit the Metropolis to cut a sod for work to commence on the Sinohydro Interchange Project on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

But the youth who since last week have held series of demonstrations calling for his removal while he was even on official duties in Italy, have vowed not to back down on their demands until he is removed from office citing a litany of allegation including the alleged dubious award of contracts.

As a result, they were holding a press conference to heighten their demands when he stormed the venue with the hope of smoking the peace pipe but the situation became tensed and chaotic he had to be whisked away in pick-up vehicle he came with.

The little over one-minute video revealed a disappointed superior gesturing in shock over the conduct of the youth who are up in arms against him over his style of leadership.

Meanwhile, Polling Station Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators insist  they deserve some respect and appreciation from the party’s  hierarchy for their hard work in risking their lives and the lives of their spouses and dependents.

They have vowed not to participate in any party activities henceforth threatening they shall boycott the impending Limited Voter Registration Exercise and all other party related activities till they are dully they recognized.
