Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Nana B, and all the dignitaries who attended Daddy Lumba’s birthday party

Numerous well-known Ghanaians gathered to celebrate with Highlife legend Daddy Lumba at his 60th birthday party.

Dignitaries such as Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, and NPP National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye were among those captured at the event.

The attendees spanned various fields, including politics, religion, and showbiz, each playing their part in the celebration.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful and Henry Nana Boakye participated in the cake-cutting ceremony while enjoying the event and supporting the celebrant.

Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, leader of the Ajagurajah movement, was also present and showered cash on Daddy Lumba as he performed one of his hits, “Se Sumye Kasa.”

Gospel musicians Brother Sammy and Empress Gifty thrilled the audience with their performances.

Ofori Amponsah, Prayetietia, Okyeame Kwame, and others also entertained guests with their popular tunes.

Serwaa Amihere, a close friend of Daddy Lumba, graced the event and even performed alongside him on stage.

Actresses including Nana Ama McBrown, Beverly Afaglo, Gloria Safo, Jessica Williams, and many others were spotted at the event.

Daddy Lumba’s 60th birthday party was held on September 29, 2024, at the Bayview Village in Accra. Born on September 29, 1964, in Nsuta, Ashanti Region, Lumba is a prolific Ghanaian singer and songwriter with around 34 albums to his name, featuring hits like “Anidasoɔ Wɔhɔ Ma Obiara,” “Ohia Asɛm,” “Ɛmmere Pa Bɛba,” and “Agya Bi Wua Agya Bi Tease.”
