Light has come, darkness has been lifted – Kofi Adoma’s wife gives cryptic update on his condition

Miracle Adoma, the wife of Ghanaian media personality, Kofi Adoma, has given what seems to be a positive update on her husband’s health progress.

In a Facebook post made on Saturday, April 12, 2025, Miracle Adoma expressed gratitude for the life of her husband, who has been battling for his eyesight following a tragic incident where the media personality was shot in the face with gunpowder.

“No matter how high the sun shines in the afternoon, it must give way for the moon at night. Lord, I am grateful for the life of my husband, Kofi Adoma, and the family. People, light has come, and darkness has been lifted,” she wrote.

Kofi Adoma sustained a serious eye injury on January 15, 2025, while covering the Kwafie Festival and the 25th anniversary of the Dormaahene’s enstoolment at Dormaa Ahenkro, in the Bono Region.

Initial reports suggested the injury resulted from gunpowder residue or pellets during a traditional musketry display, but his wife, Miracle Adoma, later clarified that an individual deliberately shot him in the face.

The incident led to partial vision loss in one eye.

Prior to her recent update, Kofi Adoma had undergone multiple surgeries in Dubai and was still recovering, with his wife indicating that her husband had been scheduled for further surgeries.

While Miracle Adoma’s post did not give a clear indication of his current status, some of her followers on Facebook have read positive meanings into the post, with some followers expressing gratitude and delight.
