Tunde Ednut, Yhemo Lee, Sina Rambo, others react to Victor Boniface’s proposed N25b annual salary

News about Super Eagles player Victor Boniface’s potential pay if he signs with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia during the January transfer window has made him popular on the internet.

If the deal goes through, the footballer will earn €15 million (about ₦25 billion) year, more than Victor Osimhen’s rumored €12.8 million contract at Napoli for the 2022–2023 campaign, making him the highest-paid Super Eagles player.

According to reports, Victor Boniface’s transfer is being discussed between Al-Nassr and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut who recently received five cows from the footballer for his birthday a few weeks back, posted information on his account on Boniface’s potential income.

He wrote, “Total agreement with Bayer 04 Leverkusen now has been reached about a final transfer fee of more than €60m. Verbal agreement was done. €15m net per season as revealed today. 24 y/o striker has already passed his medical with Al-Nassr. Boniface would become the first Nigerian to play alongside C. Ronaldo.”

The news has garnered many reactions from celebrities including Davido’s cousin Sina Rambo, content creator Isbae U, actor and singer Yhemo Lee, Peller among others.
