TTH Saga: NPP communicator suspended

The Northern Regional Communication Directorate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suspended Alhaji Baba Alhassan, a member of the communication team.

According to the party, Alhaji Alhassan was directly involved in the Tamale Teaching Hospital saga where a group of irate NPP youth chased the CEO of the facility, Dr David Kolbilla out of his office.

They accused the CEO of procurement breaches and described him as incompetent to manage the facility.

The party said Alhaji Alhassan’s behavior has brought the name of the party into disrepute and has therefore referred him to the Disciplinary Committee of the communication team for further investigation.
