Trailer carrying assorted drinks crashes on Asukawkaw Bridge

A trailer transporting assorted drinks from Accra to Dambai in the Oti region has been involved in an accident at the Asukawkaw Bridge.

The head of the trailer detached, resulting in the crash, but the driver managed to move the vehicle to safety and escaped unhurt.

The accident caused significant damage to the trailer and the goods.

The assembly member for the area, Mark Oduro, who confirmed the incident to Adom News, added that there were no casualties, but the truck was completely destroyed.

Several reports of accidents on the Asukawkaw Bridge have been attributed to its slippery nature, which requires urgent attention from authorities.

The skeletal truck with the detached head has been moved from the scene to Pai Katanga.
